THINGS TO DO

Newport is a charming coastal town with stunning beaches, scenic walks, and a rich history. The golden sands of Newport Sands (Traeth Mawr) are perfect for swimming, surfing and kitesurfing while the local Parrog is great for crabbing and sailing.

The town itself has a vibrant arts scene with independent shops and cosy pubs serving fresh seafood.

The nearby Preseli Hills offer excellent hiking and a chance to see the legendary bluestones that were used to build Stonehenge.

Newport Sands, the Parrog and Cym Y Eglwys beaches are all less than 10 minutes from the house. Further afield, Whitesands Bay and St David’s are excellent for surfing.
